The Connector PC needs to be an always-on Windows 10 Pro or higher machine. It has to keep the connection to the Internet and to your printers locally on your network.

There are 2 things that have to be installed on the Connector PC.

1) Install the printer driver and create the printer queue for each printer.

2) Install the ezeep Connector for Windows app - https://www.ezeep.com/wp-content/uploads/packages/windows/ezeepSetup.zip

The Connector does exactly what it sounds like. It connects the software to the hardware.

This is the only place that a print driver has to be installed on a local machine so that the communication can take place to the printer.

This PC needs to have an internet connection so that the cloud can interact with it, and it needs to remain turned on.

The organization also installs the ezeep connector application on this local machine.  The printer information is then uploaded to the ezeep Cloud.

Each printer requires a specific printer driver for each operating system and must be installed on the computer. If configured incorrectly or if the wrong driver is installed, a printer will not be able to communicate with the computer and vice versa. However, some printers use the generic printer drivers that come bundled with the operating system (e.g., Windows 10), allowing the user to print without installing additional drivers; this, however, can hinder the user from using the full potential of the printer as additional printer-specific settings and functions may be unavailable.
